Experience

  • I graduated cum laude from NC STATE with a B.S. in Spanish and a concentration in communications. I spent a summer in Spain, a month in Honduras, and a semester in Buenos Aires, Argentina learning the culture and mastering the language.
  • Having started off in bartending and in the restaurant industry in college, I made a smooth transition into a variety of marketing posistions, such as Hispanic marketing, grassroots, promotions, traditional advertising and permission based Email Marketing. I spent a year working as a field marketing manager, doing event promotions and product sampling. It was amazing to see how powerful face-to-face marketing really is. And it felt good to provide a real item of value. I find my marketing experience really helps my ability to successfully market my listings, and get them sold as quickly as possible.
  • Working at the Ruiz Agency, another Marketing company, I created a network of collegues and service providers I can really trust. Now, as Secretary of Treasury for my BNI group (Business Networking International), I have increased those contacts tenfold. I am fortunate to have a huge group of trustworthy contacts who appreciate my business as much as I appreciate their treatment of my customers. BNI has truly shown me the true meaning of 'givers gain'.
  • I have been in Real Estate now almost 3 years, and truly believe I will be a Realtor until I'm 80. I see all the complications and road blocks that can come up in transactions as a great way to learn and grow, and I build on that knowledge so that every future client benefits.
