Bunn - A brief history
We take great pride in our ability to recruit, train, and retain the finest quality real estate professionals.
Founded in 1913, Bunn is a rural town located in the southeastern part of Franklin County.
Green Walker Bunn, for whom the town is named, settled the area southeast of the current town limits.
At the turn of the 20th century, the Montgomery Lumber Company added railway service to the Bunn area from Spring Hope.
The lumber company purchased land and created a town near the railway, northwest of the original settlement. The town was chartered in 1913.
Bunn is a small, quaint town that is growing. Businesses reflect the change of lifestyle. Old homes are being renovated to reflect modern needs. Farmers have changed with the times and bring new products to market. Long vacant lots of land are springing to life with new homes.
Yet, the friendly small town atmosphere continues as it has for over two centuries.
