The recreation departments in all four of the surrounding Triangle communities
coordinate a full range of individual and team sports, and offer special classes
in dance, gymnastics, aerobics, exercise, cooking, arts and crafts.

For baseball fans, every summer brings the fun of the Durham Bulls, the first AAA team in NC, whose affiliate is the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, and the Carolina Mudcats, a AA professional baseball affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. For cold weather sports enthusiasts, the Triangle is the proud home of the 2006 Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes.
