Originally from West Virginia and a proud WVU graduate, real estate opportunities have taken me fromsunny St. Petersburg Beach, Florida to the mountains of Asheville, NC and then to beautiful Cary/Apex/Holly Springs where mywife, Janice, and I have lived for over 20 years. We think it has been the perfect place to raise our two daughters. We frequent the mountains three hours to the west and love the beach just two hours to the east, but most of allwe enjoyall that the Triangle has to offer. It's a great place to call home.
Just a little bit about myself - I come from a large family (youngest of nine and uncle to 35 nieces and nephews). Janice and I met in Florida, but she's originally from Rhode Island, and we have been married for over 30 years. Wehave two daughters: one is in grad school at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the other is a senior at NC State. We love to travel out west, mainly to Colorado and Arizona. Jeeping through old western ghost towns is one of our favorite activities. Our favorite in-state destination is Blowing Rock! I grew up playing basketball and have played in many local rec leagues, but a bad elbow hassteered me toward fitness and weight training. I also enjoywatching just about any sporting event, but I'm partial to college football and basketball. We also enjoy hiking, biking, and Geo-caching at the many nearby trails, parks and lakes, as well as attending local community plays, concerts and sporting events.
Real estate has been a perfect fit for me. I enjoy meeting new people and feel a great sense of accomplishment in helping them make one of life's mostimportant decisions. My wife, Janice, is also an important part of my Real Estate business as she providesstaging help andadvicefor every property that I list for sale. After the sale, I'm also an ongoing resource for those that I've worked with over the years. Manyof my clients havebought and sold multiple homes with me and they always know that they can call me whenever they have a question, issue or concern about their home. I'm proud to say that over 75%of my businesscomes through referrals from past customers and many of themhave become close friends.
