Living in High Point, NC

Established in 1859, High Point, NC, got its name from its status as the highest point on the North Carolina Railroad. While it may have begun its history as a railroad town, High Point quickly became known for its massive furniture industry. Today, residents and visitors still come to the world’s largest furnishing industry trade show, the High Point Furniture Market, to buy furniture and learn about what’s trending in design.
