I’ve been a REALTOR in the Triangle on the John Hawkins Team at Fonville Morisey’s Stonehenge office in north Raleigh since 1997. I lived in Denver and Chicago prior to moving to Raleigh in 1991. I received my accounting degree from Purdue University in my hometown of West Lafayette, IN. I worked as an auditor and accounting manager in the oil and gas, agricultural genetics, and paper industries for 10 years before switching to a real estate career.

My financial and management background is beneficial in analyzing home values and helping clients make acceptable offers in today’s competitive market. Buyers say I am good at explaining the home buying process. Buyer services include: auto-searches, showing properties, writing and negotiating offers, managing the transaction from contract to closing, and reviewing the settlement statement.

Seller services include: determining the home's market value, list price advice to get top dollar and a timely sale, advice on staging and most profitable improvements, listing the home in the MLS and other web-sites with professional photos and videos,marketing using flyers, open houses and social media, providing showing feedback, negotiating offers, managing the contract to closing, and reviewing the settlement statement.

My husband, Todd, works in engineering consulting in the pharmaceutical industry. We have two daughters, a son-in-law, one grandson and a Cocker Spaniel named Angel. Our oldest daughter is a UNC graduate and lives in Pittsboro. She and her husband work in the renewable energy industry. Our younger daughter graduatedwith aSustainable Development degree from Appalachian State University and works in Raleigh.

My interests include: residential investment real estate, visiting parks and museums with my grandson, hiking, Purdue basketball, crocheting, genealogy, visiting historic sites, learning French on Duolingo, DAR, and attending Soapstone United Methodist Church.
