About Stephen Wesson

Stephen Wesson is a Realtor with Long & Foster Real Estate in the Williamsburg office located in New Town. Born in Washington, DC, his family eventually moved to Williamsburg, Virginia, where he was a product of the Williamsburg-James City County public school system having attended Matthew Whaley, Bruton Heights, James Blair and Lafayette. Wesson's upbringing exposed him to all facets of the real estate industry at an early age. His family owned a successful residential construction company and developed many neighborhoods in Greater Williamsburg area. Stephen went on to attend Hampden-Sydney College before graduating from The University of Georgia with a degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Following graduation, Wesson lived in London, England where he worked for a public relations firm before returning to the states. Prior to working with Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc., Stephen was employed by Smithfield Foods and Enterprise Rent-A-Car where he obtained 20 plus years of experience in sales, marketing and management.
In addition to his extensive knowledge of the Williamsburg area, Stephen purchased, renovated, rehabilitated a couple dozen homes in the Williamsburg & Central Virginia markets. Wesson, growing up in Kingsmill, is a lover of the founding historic James River, and he spends much of his time between his family home in Kingsmill and his city apartment in Richmond at Rocketts Landing.
Stephen is an avid runner and has participated in many 5k & 10k races. He is lucky enough to have finished a half marathon in 2013. During his free-time he enjoys travel, good wine, eating at new restaurants and searching for new pieces of art for his collection. Stephen has been on the Board of Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden since 2008 and has chaired multiple events raising funds for the garden.
Stephen is always a phone call, email or text away and he is never too busy for your referrals!
